Work In: Deep Stretch & Meditation Series
In this 4-week series, we will explore research-backed meditation techniques and protocols to strengthen attention, attune inner awareness, declutter the mind and build empathy and compassion, with the ultimate goal of improving memory and peak mind performance. Each class will include a grounding and physically nurturing practice to prepare the body to sit and breathe with ease.
This series will start with the foundations of a meditative practice including the components of building a comfortable seat and the various ways one can support themselves in meditation. Each week, we will introduce a new evidence-based technique to build a simple yet potent practice that you can continually come back to. Expect a mix of practical theory and physical application, both lecture and conversation as well as group meditation.
All teachers and students are welcome! No prior meditation experience is required.
Continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance will be available for current yoga teachers attending all four sessions.
It is strongly recommended for students to bring their preferred props for meditation in addition to 1-2 yoga blankets/towels, journal and writing tool.

Introduction to Feng Shui and the Five Elements
Join Megan Nelson for a 90 min introduction to Feng Shui and the Five elements.
One of the essential components of Feng Shui is the 5 Elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal. Each element has its own set of characteristics, unique energy, and favorite compass direction in your home. At its core, Feng Shui is the art and science of chi flow in and around your space. When the 5 elements are in harmony with one another, it allows for optimal energy flow. Understanding the unique personalities of the elements also allows you to harness them to support you in your own life's journey. Through journaling, meditation, and resources provided, participants will gain a deeper understanding of 'chi-flow' and the 5 elements, and how to work with them in their homes and lives.
Megan Nelson is a certified Classical Feng Shui Practitioner through the International Feng Shui School. She has consulted on various homes, and businesses, and led workshops. She is also a certified yoga teacher, receiving her 200 HR from Kula Yoga Shala in Jupiter, FL. She has taught yoga at Jupiter High School and The Harvey Academy in Tequesta. She believes our inner world shapes our outer environment and empowers her clients to take responsibility for their homes and lives.

Acupuncture with Nidra + Sound Bath
Immerse yourself in relaxation and discover the unique synergy of acupuncture, sound healing with crystal bowls, and Yoga Nidra! Experience a Trifecta of Wellness: Join this special session for a holistic journey towards balance and tranquility with Dr. Bella Lauran, Jordyn Binkowski and Sofia Drekou.
Acupuncture: Acupuncture, an ancient Chinese healing practice, involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote balance. This holistic therapy is known for its ability to reduce stress, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. The gentle insertion of needles taps into the body's energy pathways, fostering harmony and encouraging the natural healing process.
Sound Healing with Crystal Bowls: Sound healing with crystal bowls is a therapeutic practice that uses the vibrational frequencies of crystal bowls to promote relaxation and balance in the body. Each bowl emits a unique sound that corresponds to different energy centers, or chakras, in the body. As the soothing tones resonate, they help release tension, clear energy blockages, and create a harmonious environment. This ancient practice is a powerful tool for reducing stress, enhancing meditation, and fostering a sense of inner peace.
Yoga Nidra: Yoga Nidra, often referred to as yogic sleep, is a guided meditation and relaxation practice that induces a state of conscious awareness sleep. Participants lie down and follow the voice of the instructor through a journey of deep relaxation. This practice not only reduces stress but also promotes better sleep, heightened self-awareness, and a sense of inner calm. It's a restorative and transformative experience that nurtures both the mind and body, making it an integral part of holistic well-being.

Join Jordyn Binkowski and Sarah Magowan as they guide you through an immersive evening combining two powerful healing modalities: Sound Bath + Reiki
Release your stress with the power of Sound Bath. By utilizing crystal sound bowls, drums, chimes and rain maker, you will gain access to theta brainwaves that will contribute to your healing and rejuvenation. While in the theta state, the brain is allowed to reprogram itself and release habits that no longer serve a positive purpose in your life. This promotes relaxation and stress reduction, and the removal of emotional blockages.
Reiki is an opportunity to deepen the connection to your higher self and ground into your body. It is known as the “energy of the universe". Reiki can be used as a means of stress reduction, relaxation, pain reduction and healing.
In combination, Sound Bath + Reiki balances the energy in the body, cleanses the chakras, and strengthens the aura to allow you to awaken to your purpose on your life path.

Yoga For Your Nervous System
Jacqueline Burbage, certified yoga Teacher + therapist will be offering her immersion workshop on embodiment and the neuroscience of yoga this November at Om Shanti Yoga. Join her as she shares an introduction to the brain and nervous system with special emphasis on deepening your awareness of how this ancient wisdom truly supports your overall wellbeing. The focus will be specifically on how we support our brain functions and manage our stress responses through the tools and techniques layed out through yoga postures, breath awareness and the practice of mindfulness.
Jacqueline’s teachings are an embodiment of the essence of yoga. Beyond the surface, beyond what yoga “does'' to the body's physical form is to heal the mind. This special experience will be about how yoga illuminates the healing process that occurs from within. As humans we tend to react to people, places or things depending on where we are in our window of tolerance. Each one of us experiences, has or will experience stress, so knowing our system and how to manage it can truly be the answer to prevent or overcome many illnesses or dis-eases.
This class will include discussion plus a full body movement and breath practice. No experience necessary, simply curiosity and willingness to learn and be in conversation.
Tuition: $95

Living in Practice | The 8 Limbs of Yoga—The Path to Freedom
Offering a clear picture of the path of yoga beyond just its individual parts, students will walk away with a better understanding of the progression of practice as laid out in one of Yoga’s most influential texts—The Yoga Sutras. We’ll go beyond just the poses + breathwork, and take a broader view that incorporates all 8 limbs that serve to guide us to more freedom and clarity in our lives.

*cancellation policy—credit back to your account to use towards future offerings if you cancel at least 48 hours from the start of the workshop.
Within + Without
Join Jordyn Binkowski and Tara Beaulieu as they invite you to dive deep, align and connect. The night will begin by settling into the space with refreshing mocktails and warm tea. Then, release your stress with the power of an immersive sound bath. By utilizing crystal sound bowls, gong, drums, chimes and rain maker, you will gain access to theta brainwaves that will contribute to your healing and rejuvenation. While in the theta state, the brain is allowed to reprogram itself and release habits that no longer serve a positive purpose in your life. This promotes relaxation and stress reduction, and the removal of emotional blockages. From a deep state of relaxation, we have the opportunity to rest, digest and receive.
A chakra meditation invites you to align, balance and receive Higher Guidance. During this chakra meditation you will be guided to balance the energy in the body, cleanse the chakras, and strengthen your natural energy field, the aura. This combination of sound and meditation allows you to awaken to your sense of purpose and personal peace.
The closing circle offers an opportunity to integrate the experience through some quiet time followed by sharing. The opportunity to share allows us to both be vulnerable and share in connection. Without judgment we find how we were never meant to do this alone!
So join, as we dive deep, WITHIN, and journey closer in community, WITHOUT judgment.
It's encouraged to bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, eye cover and crystals, to maximize the flow of energy.
